Eggtopsied one egg of two. Will probably do the other soon, but not until I am convinced. This egg sank in the float test on day 22, the other bobbed, but did not wiggle. Day 13? 14? Very sad. I could have sworn the egg had movement at day 18. Hurried the little one next to his/her father.
Hey we should hatch close to the same time I have 24 barn yard mixes and that are at the 8 day mark and will be at day 7 with my rhodebars on tuesday. All my barn yards are growing well and some of my rhodebars are looking good.Oh! I am on day 7! One week down, 2 to go! WOO WOO!So far, everyone of the eggs seem good still- except for one, which is showing no growth- no veining or anything. It's pretty clear, so I think it's not going to develop, but the hubby refuses to give up on it yet.. I'm sure I will be the one that will encounter a mess with a rotten egg if I wait too long.
How long would you all wait to take out non-developing eggs?

Can anyone explain that yellow matter off to the side? Not sure what day this baby died.
Started with five eggs, thought we had two, down to none. Very sad day. 21 sleepless nights. We learned so much, and if we ever get the heart to try again, we will be better egg keepers for it. Rip sweet babies, we loved you from day one.
