I candled my duck eggs a few days ago, 58 out of 68 are fertile so far! And 1-2 dozen of the eggs are 2-3 weeks old.

Hey that's great! What day are you on? I love seeing them too. I've got a black copper hen that's determined to go broody. So guess I'll put a few eggs under her even though I don't really need the chickens. I also breed Welsummers so I think that's what kind I'll be giving her. I hate to waste a good thing by not letting her do what Mother Nature intended for her to do. Lol!

My chicks are due on the 19th. One more week! I'm baffled how they can grow so fast. It seems they'd have to triple their size from now! (First time incubating)
I hope they are up to snuff
I'd love a broody hen! I'm hoping for one this year. I just want that fun experience. You should post pics of those fuzzies poking out of their momma's wing.
