Hay, is it true that when you receive shipped eggs you have to let them sit for a day to settle?


Yes, the air sac may have come detached during shipment. Sitting lets them get reestablished. And if they were cold at anytime during shipment you could get condensation in the egg if you move them to a high temperature too quickly.

cause i cant fin anything maybe i did something wrong, ive been hoping and praying for theses babies.
 
The box was so quiet ok last time i didnt pay attention, and this time and cant leave the poor girl alone...sigh i guess next hatches will be better.

There is no solid proof, but several people do this. you put a laptop or something near the incubator with the sounds of chicks chirping. I do it when they have pipped, they will chirp back.

Thanks you make me feel better, also every day from 18 ive been chirping to the eggs no reply yet. Ill see in the morning, also im using a broody not a bator lol, mine hasnt come yet. More encouragment would be helpful.
