Jan./Feb. 2014 hatch a long

Oh Boy! I hope its not too hard to fix. I wish you luck getting it done.
All fixed. Max did most of the work. I crawled under the house to make sure it wasn't leaking under there. It goes to about 1 1/2'. I felt like a snake.

I thought about that, but set it up in front room instead, we shall see how it goes, typically were all so busy during the week we don't see much of the kids or GK but Saturday or Sunday they are usually here for dinner, they both understand that there are babies in those eggs and they could hurt them but like I said, last time the incubator was in a room I could shut the door on.. I think they will do fine, its not like they are hellions or anything lol

I have read so many times that people have said that the kids know not to touch it but they do and all of the eggs die. They are so sad. Even the best kids get curious or think they are helping. If you put it up high where they can't reach it, you wouldn't have to worry.
I just wanted to say, you are one bad @$$ lady and I really admire you! I watched you build your own coop and now fix a burst pipe...you are AWESOME!!!

Thanks. I like to fix things myself. I have such a great assistant. Also, everyone I have hired since moving has done a terrible job (except one) and charged way too much. It feels good to do things myself. If I don't know how, I google and youtube it. Did I mention I'm retired? Limited budget. It cost me $12 to fix it myself. I would have had to pay a plumer $120-150.

It's a really awesome skill to have. my kid brother taught himself to fix cars from youtube. if you have the drive and the interest/need, you can literally do anything with the internet!

That turned out great! Will you have to wrap it or cover it with something if it freezes again?
