Thanks! Hmmm.. I've always heard in a still air your temp will actually be 101/102 at top of the eggs. And where that thermometer is, would actually be halfway up the egg as it is a lid cut in half..

That looks good. It should be 99.5 at the top of the eggs (on the egg carton as it is now).
When it is 99.5 at the top of the eggs, it will be cooler than that (97F?) on the floor of the incubator on the metal grate. So if you take the temperature from the floor of the incubator, it will not be accurate and the top of the eggs will get too hot.
I have heard both 101/102 I am going with 102 but it is everyones own choice.
