These eggs are in a new incubator so we will see if it has been cold or hot or dry or wet or whatever, it seems to be running very similar to our first one although goes through water heaps faster, I think last hatch I topped up water twice for the 18 days, this time I am topping it up daily as it is dry.
Thanks, the Ayam Cemanis were a gift from my boyfriend. I'm feeling a lot of pressure/anxiety, however, because they ended up being rather expensive! I'm a sucker for colored eggs though, and Araucanas and Ameraucanas are still my favorite breeds. Shhh, don't tell him!

What kind of new incubator did you get? Don't do what I did and just trust one additional monitor. Upon testing it against five, it was clearly running too low...hence my current late hatch.
