The chicks have been SOLD! =) The person I sold them to will also be paying me to hatch some Bielefelder eggs for them! I was able to spend a few days with those adorable, fuzz-butts though! That little light-colored one was developing a strong personality! How are your eggs doing??? Are you getting excited??

Yay, hope everything continues to go great. When do you go into lockdown?

It's on the 16th, so not long now but I'm sure it will feel like forever untill it gets here aha

Okay Nana went and done it. I'm on day 6 on bator #1, was planning on not touching the eggs until day 10. Just couldn't stand it any longer so I got 3 eggs out to candle. Each egg came from a different source. When I candled 1 from my eggs I couldn't see anything yet (egg is a darker color). Egg 2 is from a shipped source (dark color as well), couldn't see anything yet. The 3rd egg is also a shipped egg (light color), YAY I have a embryo started.

YAY eggciting stuff it feels like a life time ago since I candled the eggs for the first time and its only been just over a week I think! What breeds have you got in the bator at the moment then?

I can't wait until lockdown! My chicks are going to be just in time for my cousin's birthday (they need to move some chicks in, so I'm incubating some for them). Woohoo!

So you're almost up to lockdown Jack! I've got my fingers crossed all goes well for you both!!

I was due to candle last night but FORGOT!!! So now we will candle tonight on day 10....although I did have a sneaky peek at 5 the other night (day 5) and found 4 definite starters and a maybe, so hopefully we have lots of fluffies on the way.

Those last few days are just excitement plus I know!!! Enjoy it.

I've got 2 dozen lavender Araucana, plus one dozen each gold & silver laced Wyandottes. Day 21 is day after Xmas. I'm getting excited already!

The eggs are doing very well! I see lots of movement. I think they're throwing a hatching party before going into lockdown!

We go into lockdown on the 16th! =) I have to go home and ready my hatcher as soon as I get off of work....very excited!
