January 1, 2011 Quail Hatch Along

I got 30 Coturnix babies running around and another duckling...and bobwhites are hatching...3 so far and 10 in the hatcher pipping...make it 11

The bobwhites wanted to hatch in 2010 it seems

as they weren't due until tomorrow

I think my hatch is done, but I will leave them in the bator for a few days.
I have 34 babies 6 are M Golds and 2 of those a definate males. Nice size hatch as expected.
I have had 1 die, not enough strength to get past the partially zipped egg, a M Gold. So there are actually 15 eggs still in the bator. 3 from adolescents so I can figure them as infertile.

Kids are here to celebrate xmas and NY's. You each have a happy New Years tomorrow.
