candled my 3 look like day 19's.

What do you think about this??? I think it's wonky. Day 9. My Brinsea mini silkie eggs look like this. I don't think they are getting good rotation although I set it on its circumference setting.

Any ideas

eggs pick a side to develop on mostly until day 10 you will see one side is favored. after day ten you will not be able to see in the egg much but the air cell.

Here's Oops, the Light Brahma x Blue-Laced Wyandotte cross hatched 1/3/15.



The Seller's replacement purebred eggs arrived today, but a tad chilled... I hope they didn't freeze in transit. Guess we'll know in a week or so at first candling. They are resting right now to get to room temps and restore air cell integrity. Will probably set late tomorrow... Guess I need to plan to join the February HAL!

Woke up to my first chick this morning, a cute little brown EE [@]
[/@]with a smidge of feathers on its legs! Not who I was expecting to hatch first, but I'll take it! My little Silkie is still in there, hanging out and there are at least 4, maybe 5 more eggs pipped! C'mon little chickies

Well I hate you didnt get more hatched, we went on lockdown about an hour ago, we will see by the weekend, lol
Can't wait to see pictures and compare to what weve hatched from the same eggs.

Thanks! And it looks like I'm about to start all over again! I just ordered 2 dozen black copper Marans eggs, and I'll go to pick them up in a few days once the breeder collects them for me. Guess I'm in on the Feb HAL too
