Also, the remaining 4 are the lemon blues, but none of those have pips. The one lemon blue that did hatch is black, lol! I can't tell any of them apart.

Bummer that stinks when you are expecting something and get something else. I had 2 eggs labeled leghorn hatch black and I was a bit disappointed because we were expecting a white chicken. We had another leghorn pip into a vessel and die and when I eggtopsied it was black as well. We only had 1 leghorn actually hatch a yellow chick.

Great job! I am very happy for you! Are they marans? Did you drive your eggs back or fly? I was wondering if they would let you through TSA with them!
 
I'm actually thinking these TJ eggs are sex-linked. The ones starting to comb up have a slightly amber smudge in the yellow at the base of their skulls. The no-combers are pure white fuzz. Will have to do a tally and marking and see if this is true or coincidence or just a bunch of hooey. I know that one of the Hy-Line lines is sexable by coloring...I think the amber. I wonder if that's the roos they used in their huge fertile flocks?
 
Fri. 12 am Started day 20 for my silkie mix eggs. None were pipped before 11 pm Thur. but sometime just after 12 am Fri. got my first external pip ~ yay. I wonder how many pips I will have in the morning?
 
Day 21 started last night...Went to bed with no pips...NADA...Convinced myself everyone was dead. Wake up at 6 am...no pips...for sure everyone is now dead. Go about getting my daughter off to school..take a peek and it's a pip party. Yeah...there is life in my incubator (Which btw...my stupid hovabator is running a 5 degree spread inside) By 9 am two silkies out and two Orp's zipping. I have 7 silkies due and 3 orps and three mystery barnyard mix eggs!

I am planning on a shut in today. Got a couple movies and a stock of tea to keep me occupied! I am trying to keep sitting on my hands!!!
