Wooooohooooo!!!! Welcome aboard. Nice bator!!

I have a 6 year old Super Blue (Leghorn/EE mix) who lays a big sky blue egg 5 days out of 7. She's amazing. Love that mix. Wowsers - 4 month and laying already, that's awesome. My Marans and Cream Legbars take around 11 months to start laying - it's like watching paint dry ..:pop
It's awesome you have a Super Blue! I have 6 leghorn eggs in right now that all show great development. They're all crossed with my cream legbar rooster so I should have super blues too! I'm so excited about them!

Gimmi birdies: thank goodness she didn't get them all. I had 14 and two turkeys. Got 7 chickens back and 1 turkey. Thank goodness my rooster, Pete, came back! He's an amazing fella.

Here is that thermometer I hope your tsc has it mine was the very last one that ours had.

And that one looks like it’ll work fine just doesn’t look like it’ll tell you if the temp changes. So keep a log on the side with a post it and dates with the temps so you can have it recorded I do that anyways.

:barnieOkay so hubby knows I am hatching eggs. Together we chose the kind of eggs to set. B-U-T.... he didn't know I have 3 eggs developing in an incubator, in my closet upstairs. (My stash) I know he dug in my closet today, looking for his dumb MANSTUFF that are not in my closet, like I told him a billion times. If I don't get heat from his dig, and he had to see my eggs, like another chicken lady on this thread said, "men have selected blindness", and it is real!
