Hi guys I have a weird mistake I’ve caused Lol I put my eggs in at different days didn’t realise the consequences... I have Aylesbury duck eggs in the incubator one on day 18/19 and rest of the duck eggs on day 11 I have also my own backyard chicken eggs (Rhode Island Red Cross Plymouth barred rock roo) I’ve just put into the incubator this morning (day 1) and was hoping I could still join this hatch along as I may need a bit of support with helping ma babies hatch! Thanks all would
Love to know what days everyone else is on!

Day 6 over here in Sunny (except cold right now) Florida

If you have another Bator I would definitely pull some of those eggs because the first hatchers will compromise everything else in the Bator, with such big differences in hatch days, it may make it less stressful for you ..... my 5p worth

Day 17! Not sure if these will be on time or not based on their size. All 22 eggs still doing well. Saw almost all of them moving when I candled! My last hatch in August (my first hatch) was about 3 days early due to higher temps. This time I've been really trying to make sure they aren't too hot. Does this look normal for day 17?

Also, some of my other eggs seem to be more "filled in" than this one. But this egg is large and the other eggs I'm thinking of are more medium. Maybe that's just the natural variation in eggs?

I just put 15 Crested Cream Legbar eggs in the incubator today. Such pretty blue eggs!

Ooooooohhhhhhh I can't wait for my CL's to grow up!!! Can you post pics of your eggs

Hi everyone (and thanks for the invite gimmie birdies x). I set 15 CCL eggs in my R Com 20 max yesterday morning so I am on day 1 with hatch due on 27th January. This is my first hatch in 3 years and after an almost two year break in owning any chickens at all (due to house and job move). I am also buying some POL Orps, Cochins and Brahmas, which should be with me in the next couple of weeks. I am sooooo excited to be getting back into chook keeping and so glad to be back here on BYC.

WOWSERS Happy Hens - You and me both!!! It's my first hatch in 4 or 5 years. I am beside myself!!!! Send us pics of your CCL eggs.

Thanks for helping me stay busy i do extra work for art class and get extra credit so I don’t mind! I will post more pictures when I’m finished with it.
