I am being patient. I am waiting for my ebay eggs, the ad said delivered between Jan. 6-10th, from one state over. I am waiting to get my borrowed incubator too, my friend has to dig it out of her basement, :idunno sigh, I am telling myself, it is okay, the eggs are not here yet. I have home made incubators I can toss eggs into, if I had to. I guess I am not that patient, and you guys are getting the brunt of my impatience. :thSince I don't know what day the eggs will come, I have been eye balling my own chicken eggs to decide which to add to the 15 that are coming. So at least I have that.

I have hatched mostly in my home made incubator, this will be a first time in a real incubator. Octagon 20 is what she may lend me, unless she lets me borrow her octagon 40, I don't know. I would be better off with her smaller one, because if she gives me the bigger one, i may try to fill it....

I just set 18 Silver-Laced Wyandotte eggs from a lady who lives nearby. Looking to add something a bit more cold-hardy to the flock after this year's near arctic temps. Plus SLW are just so pretty.
Prettttty!!!! I have just added BLRW Splash to my backyard girls .... (except he is acting very much like he might be a boy)
