We were feeding them "June Bugs' that my son would catch (which look like big Japanese Beetles)...and that gave us the idea of using the traps and feeding them the JBs after we saw them eat some of those off the leaves of some bush.
But we do make sure we empty the trap every day so we aren't giving the rotten food....so at least once a day we empty the bag in the coop, and they tear through them. No problems yet!
