Jersey Giant chick question

I have a Jersey Giant chick that is 4.5 weeks old. Is it normal for them to look like this at this age? Its my first J.G. It looks like a Roo but maybe its just the breed?

Definitely a cockerel. A pullet's comb should not be that large or red at only 4.5 weeks old.

Comb is not really a straight comb - could it be a mix? We hatched some mixed chicks with BJG as dad- those chicks look a lot like a BJG in every way (including larger frame), but their combs are not straight combs. However, for the age, the red and developed comb point to a male for your bird.
