Filling my incubators; but am thinkin of doing an Auction come Friday-ish to ship Next Monday, they will be Golda Miller White Jerseys.................

I'm curious to know how much your white JG's weigh? I'm guessing they are the same size as the blacks?

All Jersey Giants are considered Huge by chicken standards, but I think the whites may be a touch smaller, if at all...

To be brief, She pretty much developed the breed of Jersey Giants in the White variety, as she raised Blacks and had a genetic
" sport " appear and from that , and with selective breeding came the Whites.

ChickwaanaB : Sure I would sell ya one, but as you see, I am in a place called Iowa..........

Would sure hate to ship a 12 lb Rooster........

you would be looking at around $60 +(weight) then add the shipping box $10 + then add what the po will charge to your zip code from the sellers.
Not cheap ,but can be a great way to get a started chicken.
The worst is trying to find a breeder that will ship top quality birds.

my Brinsea arrived today, after reading the instructions thoroughly I plugged it in and waited for it to come to temp, adjusted everything to perfection and put in 4 buff Chantecler and 3 Barred Rock x buff Chante eggs. I am now expecting my precious bundle Valentines day Feb 14th.
I would still love to do some Jersey Giants, black or white, not so interested in the splash or Lavender stuff. It will have to wait now as the bator I got only holds 7 and is full.
