Pearl looks a little boyish to me, but the others look like pullets. Even if Pearl is a rooster, they are very sweet chickens. None of my JG roosters got mean.

Thanks for the reply ! I was concerned when the two grew so much faster, then started to get pink around the comb at 5weeks old (and much earlier than the other two chicks who 3weeks later are only getting a little pink on the face). If I have 2boys & 2girls then I figure I will probably have 2pullets with very bare backs and/or one dead cockerell. I figured that if one was a roo then probably both were. I figured the ratio 2:2 was not ideal for anyone concerned!

The cockerel (Stan the Man) is looking directly at the camera. Sleepy-head is a pullet (Askew). Age is probably 3 weeks.

The first chick out of the 27 new line blue jg's eggs is out its a very big and pretty blue!
Have about 5 more that should hatch today the others are rocking and rolling.

Only 5 left to go and 2/3 have pips already.
These ones are popping out like popcorn.
No splash yet.
Blues and blacks.
Some light blues too.

Nice top line on that chick. She looks like a big gal. She almost blends in with the Florida sand!
