I was blessed just be reading this thread.

May sound funny, but even with the bit of controversy that was attempted to be brought in, scriptures flowed, and many that I need to be reminded of.

So I thank all of YOU BYC'er's, for everything in this thread, both the Christain Believers and the Athiests, or whatever you beliefs are, Thank you.


One small comment, to the Ephesians verse, "Wives submit to your husbands" I encourage the ones who brought that up to read both before and beyond that scripture.

Ephesians 5:20-22,25, & 28 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Submit to one another, out of reverence for Christ. Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. (25) Husbands, love your wives just as Christ has loved the church ....in this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.

Here's a surprise blessing: immediately after saying a quick prayer for our chickens (free ranging right then) to be protected from predators, I looked out the window and saw a hawk swoop down after our BO, Tweety. She narrowly escaped by diving under our huge, overgrown forsythia jungle and stayed there, clucking angrily. That's the first time I've seen a hawk actually attack, after 9 years of raising chickens. We are so blessed that Tweety, a venerable older gal, was kept safe. She certainly isn't the fastest of our girls.

Isn't it interesting that after you Prayed for protection.....God allowed you to SEE His protection. You asked-He answered. There are so many times in our lives that we ask....but we don't always have the blessing of seeing His hand at work. Praise God for that sweet testimonial directly from the Savior. Is God cool or what?????

They got 287,000 signatures to back their stand! If this attempt is successful, all Sunday worship services being broadcast on the radio or by television will be stopped. This group is also campaigning to remove all Christmas programs and Christmas carols from public schools! You as a Christian can help!

We are praying for at least 1 million signatures. This would defeat their effort and show that there are many Christians alive, well and concerned about our country. As Christians, we must unite on this.

Please don't take this lightly. We ignored one lady once and lost prayer in our schools and in offices across the nation. Please stand up for your religious freedom and let your voice be heard. Together we can make a difference in our country while creating an opportunity for the lost to know the Lord.

I am beyond blessed.
I woke up this morning and had food in the pantry. Some couldnt say that.
I woke up in a nation where ( for a while longer ) I can attend the church of my choosing.
I woke up with a terrible head cold, but I had medicne to take and a Loving Father to heal me.
I have a wonderful wife
I have a wonderful dog
I have wonderful adult children and grandkids all over the place.
I have a job.
I have food for tonight.
I have a truck, van, and motorcycle.
I have..................................

Peace that passes all understanding.
I have Jesus.

[Silly Chickens]

My 5yo son is a blessing everyday, almost every morning he wakes up singing praise to God, and I love hearing my baby worship his creator with his first words of the day. It is not the same song every day either.

God answers his prayers so much faster than he does mine too.....we pray about a lost book or something that little and he will answer right away. It is just amazing.

We were also able to go to the grocery store today and buy food so there is another blessing since we are broke and spent the last of our money so we can eat. I pray that my husband gets to go to work soon, that the job site will be ready for them to start. We have no income when he isn't working.

God wants us to pray about everything.....small and big. He is never too busy for us. He wants a relationship with us. I am thankful that I have Him!

I have ENOUGH: Food, drink, a wonderful husband, children, grands, friends, shelter and I soon will have my chickens. Even through the bad times we seem to be blessed with ENOUGH...
