I put my washing machine in the prayer box at church. Everyone laughed at me, in a nice way, but one just has to have faith. The following week my mother came to visit from across the state. I had told her about my washing machine not spinning out and making a horrible metallic sound when it did manage to spin. When she came for a visit, she just casually looked in my tub, as she knows a few handy things about machines. She happened to notice that one of the holes was not open and found a nail head there....with the nail shaft projecting down out of the tub. Picked out the nail and....instant healing! I had examined that tub a thousand times but hadn't noticed that one little thing. God made my mom a busy body with an inquisitive nature, then he sent her to heal my machine!
The best part was that, as soon as I put the prayer in the box, I stopped worrying about how I could afford another machine. I knew God would provide for us when I could not afford to do so myself. Also, the very next Sunday, someone was getting rid of an older, but good, machine and offered it to me and I got to feel the love of my fellow Christians. I didn't need his machine but someone else will surely benefit from it. Blessings x 2!
