Jet Quail???

Went to the poultry auction locally today, someone was selling Jet Quail?? What are these exactly??? Anyone know??

Sounds Like A Local Slang Term.... I Am Unfamiliar With Anything Even Remotely Close To Jet Quail

I thought to myself " I wonder what they taste like? " but I doubt anyone has ever caught one lol


I would guess its slang for Coturnix, I have heard Coturnix be called everything around here from Bible quail, cot-ter-necks, japs, cots, browns, etc etc
