Here's the sneak peek for now!!

"Why'd you let him go," Jazzy asked.
"Because, I wasn't going to put him in pain that he shouldn't have to go through, regardless if he tried to kill us or not," Nikki explained.
"But he tried to kill Fenix Jr.!" Jazzy argued.
"So? It isn't going to help us if we turn into a bunch of killers." Jazzy understood this and began walking down into the countryside again with Nikki and Sunny, once again for their journey.

Here's 25... or is it 26... I don't care, here's the new chapter!

Chapter 25

"Not again," Jazzy bickered.
What Bella had seen was her first hawk.
"What is it," Nikki asked. Suddenly, the hawk swooped down and tried to grab Bella.
"Surround the chicks!" Nikki urged.
"Chicks, get in my wing!" Jazzy yelled. They immediately obeyed. Nikki then charged the hawk who was trying to swoop down again at Fenix Jr., grabbed in with her claws in middair, and fought it.
Eventually, the hawk became all bloody and wasn't fighting any longer, but instead was trying to escape. Nikki let him go, who flew off and didn't even circle.
"Why'd you let him go," Jazzy asked.
"Because, I wasn't going to put him in pain that he shouldn't have to go through, regardless if he tried to kill us or not," Nikki explained.
"But he tried to kill Fenix Jr.!" Jazzy argued.
"So? It isn't going to help us if we turn into a bunch of killers." Jazzy understood this and began walking down into the countryside again with Nikki and Sunny, once again for their journey.

Later that day, they arrived at a river with a forest on their sides and what appeared to be a canyon a few miles north. As they walked along, they noticed some scurrying around in the bushes and grass. However, they shrugged it off, thinking that it was just a mouse of something, and continued on.

However, they were wrong. At the canyon, they found some insects that were different that what they had ever tried before- strange bugs that rolled up whenever they pecked at them, and others that tried to pinch whenever they pecked at them. Nevertheless, they had a tasty meal of that with canyon-river water, and continued on their way through the canyon.

About midway through the canyon, however, Bella and Gabby started bickering, forcing them to switch backs.
"I told you that was my roly poly!"
"I already ate it, Bella!"
"Girls, hush," Jazzy demanded. "Bella, hop on my back." Bella listened.
"Listen! What was that," Nikki asked.

Here it is!!!!

Chapter 26

"Is that really Fenix and Gingernut?!" Jazzy asked, stunned.
"It is!!!" Sunny shouted. They started chasing the couple.
"Fenix, quick, something's chasing us," Gingernut warned.
"Ginger!!" Nikki called out, but they didn't hear her. They only continued running and chasing for hours and hours.

"Ginger!!!" Nikki cried after hours and hours of chasing after the two passed out from running so fast for so long.
"Nikki?" she replied.
All of them ran towards each other, and hugged for what seemed like hours.

"So guys," Fenix offered, "want to come back to our cave?"
Gingernut was reluctant when Jazzy approached.
"Come on Ginger," Jazzy said, "just forgive me!" It took a minute for Gingernut to respond, but,
"I forgive you!!!" Gingernut yelled, hugging Jazzy as tight as she could. "I don't want things to be this way between us!!!!"
"Hey look! Mommy and Jazzy are hugging each other!" Gabby exclaimed.

"The cave's this way," Fenix directed, showing them the same mountains that they had seen last autumn. Inside, instead of the brown, dirty, humid cave that they had seen in the winter, now it was temperate, rocky, dry, and grey.
The chicks were now about 3 months old. They weren't as silly as they were when they were just little fluff balls, now they had all of their feathers and were preparing for their first eggs.
Suddenly, Fenix Jr. made a horrible, shrilling noise as he stretched his neck. What was that all about?
"Fenix Jr.!" Gingernut scolded.
"Sorry mom," Fenix Jr. apologized.
"You know that your father is the only one who is allowed to do that," Jazzy jumped in.
"Aw come on ladies," Fenix said, "we're going to need someone else to take over sometime! Now, Fenix Jr., how about I start giving you crowing lessons?"
"Yeah! I want to be the perfect crower!" Fenix Jr. replied anxiously.
Their friendships had now been mended, and it looked good so far for Fenix's family. Little did they know of the new adventures that awaited them.
