    Hi guys,

My little girl petals( beagle) is nearing the end of her pregnancy and is showing signs of joint pain in her back leg. She's had trouble with that leg in the past, particularily after a good long run (old hunting injury we believe) but now with all the extra weight it's become more prominent, not inflamed but she's seems hesitant to put any weight on it . I have a bottle of "Joint complete" that's been in the fridge forever but never been used and I was wondering if anybody has had any experience with this supplement and it's use in pregnant and soon to be lactating animals...or at the very least some tips on how to lessen the soreness in her leg?

Thank you for any and all replies,

It if were me, I would not do it. You really have no idea if or how it could affect the pups. I would just keep her activity level low, perhaps some crate time with a nice comfy bed. You could also give her a doggie massage [IMG].. maybe a hot compress?
