Judge my chickens! (Marans/cream Legbars)

Agree. I normally don't point it out, because it sounds rude to do so (and not to mention the other hundred misspellings here -- Morons, Orphingtons, Bard Rocks, Seabrite... lol) but in the OP's position of wanting to show, I thought it was prudent to mention it.
You weren’t rude at all! I appreciate the correction from both you and @JedJackson! That’s why I Love this website, so much to learn!

Ok, guys! My marans cockerel doesn’t have very good coooer coloring in his saddle feathers so I don’t think I’m going to use him. However, I’m really liking my pullet! What do y’all think? I apologies for the awful pictures! They were the best I could get while carrying a baby! Lol I’m the one with her facing to the left, she has her tail cocked towards me so it looks a little off. Close up is just to reference to her face.

Don't forget the oft misspelled Road Island Red. I didn't know the state was spelled that way.:gig
Thank you.
Its probably a good thing we can't hear the way some breeds are pronounced here. :gig (myself included on several, I'm sure!)
Like two of my favorite breeds - Penedesenca and Empordanesa. And like the Marans and Rhode Islands, named after their place of origin - Penedes and Emporda.

It's not rude at all-- you did it in a very nice way. It's good information to know if you are showing, and so is the correct pronunciation. I just wanted to point out that it's a-okay if that stuff doesn't matter to a person. We're all different.
So with the pronunciation of 'Marans', is it as the French probably would say it with the emphasis on the 'maRANs' or with the emphasis on the 'MArans'?

I believe it’s ma-RANs.

I like the look of her too. You could hop over to the Marans thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...ad-breeding-to-the-sop.1122465/#post-17306590
There is a poster on there, chooksman, super informed about the breed and just a cool cat altogether, who would give you a totally sincere opinion of your pullet!

I think chooksman is on hiatus. :(

This pullet has great shape. The tail is coming along just fine, the shanks are well positioned and the leg feathering is coming in well.

One thing I would look for in my pullets is more orange in the hackle and for the hackel feathers to appear more like orange laced black feathers rather than a solid color like what is appearing on the upper neck portion
