Well had my coq au vin last night.

The broth and veges were great, the meat a little too dry.
It was also very boney, I guess layer feed must give a rooster very strong bones.

I also had a hard time eating it since my daughter had just given me the YUCK HOW COULD I lecture.
My DH ate up since the rooster gave his all.

So, my report is that I can process well enough, eating is harder, especially when your darling child pipes in.
But, I think I can easily make awesome broth and treats for the mutts.

My husband used to give in until he realized that everynight "we" were making 3 seperate dinners. By we I mean "he" becuase I only made one meal and if he gave in he got to make the kids food and he got tired of it pretty quick.
