Julie...here's some of your RIRs

Katy. The Roo Big Red and His dad were sweet hearts. My neighbor has about three RIR roos he has kept and they are all docile. I can't see why it would be different for you.

ALL of Julie's RIR I hatched out this spring were all roos and they were sweet tempered and they still were until they were unfortunately killed by a hawk near my friend's farm.

Cant wait to get a pullet or two from Julie's lines.

is thay any color difference in chicks from the dark rir's or the production or hatchery chicks , i hatched out one that was light red i was thanking it would be yellow , (thats what i get for thanking) i have a few more to hatch in a few days i hope to get a few that are dark red i have eggs from 3 diff. people

The red chicks in these pictures are these same RIR's when they hatched the end of May. They were very deep red even as chicks.

Yes Brick they will be and another good friend that I have. As soon as hers start to lay I will let you know. It should be in the next month or two. She already has hers separated and they are gorgeous. I gave her five pullets and she had one and she saved the best Cockerel. So they should look pretty awesome. Just Likes Hatching on here has some and is my neighbor. I think he is going to sell eggs too. I don't think his have started laying yet either and He doesn't have them penned together. They are still all in one pen with other breeds.

Thanks Julie....I really like how the seven that I hatched from your flock are looking. I said it before, but I have to say again, these are the most gentle chickens I have ever had. Brick.
