July 2015 Hatch A Long HAL

I use a free app from google play called Hatchabatch. You can run multiple hatches, add notes and it keeps track of the days for me. Sends me alerts when its time to lockdown and tips about what the chick (or duck or other poultry) is doing at the time. Its pretty good. I have it on my phone.

This is wonderful advice. Thank you.

I am recovering from lockdown frustration. Temp and humidity stable 100 degrees F and 66% humidity for the past several hours. They're Day 18/19, and I just saw one wiggle!

Oh I am so happy for you that you have a wiggling one. How exciting!

I was looking and got nothing so far. No wiggling or hairline break

. I'm hoping when I get home from school to have something. Congrats I. The exciting event tho.

I think it was luck that I caught the wiggle. I have checked many times since and there haven't been wiggles. It's only day 19 here for most of my eggs. I expect pips tomorrow.

I HAVE WIGGLERS! I am so, so overexcited right now haha I thought I was a baby chicken serial killer for sure. Hubs came home this AM & was checking them out & told me one was wiggling. I thought he was pulling my leg! But no, we have a few little wigglers in there!

I cannot describe the relief I have right now. What a rush.
