July 2015 Hatch A Long HAL

And she's out! (Does it help if I will them all to be girls from the beginning??) Now the other pipped egg is rocking and a rolling to join her. Still no action from the other 8 though :-(

One. Loud. Tired. Chick.
I hope they don't keep me up all night. It's hard to fight the urge to get him out quick. I'm going to try to sleep while I can.

Congrats!

These chicks are loud! The only other thing I have hatched are quail and these guys are much noisier/feistier.

Progress pic! She's shouting and kicking like crazy! I'm worried because only one other one has pipped. Hopefully I see some action on the others soon :-(
I tried to post this earlier so if it went through and I don't see it I apologize for multiple posts. But if it helps, some of mine have been hours apart as far as activity goes. And some of them have been pipping in secret under the egg and suddenly I turn around and have a zipped egg ready to pop out of nowhere. So, don't give up! Look how late mine were haha and they've been rocking it today. Don't lose hope.

The temptations that come along with incubation are crazy bad. I just want to put them in the brooder so bad right now haha

It's been 24 hours since the 1st pip, 12 hours since the second pip. No new pips since. Do you still think there's a chance?

Incidentally, the two smallest eggs pipped first. Is this a a thing?
