...another pipped, zipped and hatched in under 2 hrs

Chick #1 (chains hanging down are a reflection from above lights).

Chick #2 at 10 mins old


Right now we are in the middle of a thunder storm and have already had 2 short power outages lasting 30 seconds...hope we don't get a big one.

Yes, got 1 more this afternoon. The ones I set on 27th were 18 purchased a dozen she gave me 6 extras.

Day 20 and have 2 pips. Going to have some more babies soon. Loving it.

Two more have hatched, making it 5, which puts it at 55% hatch rate so far, all white crested black Polish. The 1 RIR, which was the first to pip (but at the small end) I believe is a gonner, which leaves 3 Polish. If nothing more develops, I will be a happy camper with 5

Were these purchased and shipped eggs? Hopefully, you'll get more. Good show thus far though considering you had the incubator temp issue and all. Congrats, and good luck with the chicks.

woke up to 3 more chicks making it 16 chicks out of 29 that made it to lock down so about 55% hatch rate.
