July 29th Hatch along..anyone due for a hatch around then?

Anyone? Candle yet? I have 5 viable eggs. I was wondering how many I would have after that horrible delivery from the P.O...Go back and take a look at the package! I'm lucky to have 5 babies swimming in there. I hope they all stay alive now. Beautiful mahogany reds, the color is amazing from the gal I got them from.
Come on..anybody else candle yet..or am I too early to ask?

I have 22 assorted color silkie eggs due to hatch 7/21. Im very excited. Good luck with your hatch everyone.

I candled last week, haven't candled again. I set 4 more Serama eggs yesterday along with one of Mrs. Fluffy Puffy's eggs. It should be half Light Sussex since that is the only rooster she has been with. Can't wait to see what it looks like!

Welcome hlf...assorted colors..sounds fun!

Aww, more pretty Seramas..and I did the same thing, put a few more eggs in of some Nankins. I was offered, I took. Two out of three are fertile. These will have less black than the others, all of the pullets are a nice clean buff, no black specks in the neck or wings.
The rooster is darling. Well, handsome. I'm hoping for pullets.

Hope everyone is having fun with the waiting game. My waiting game for my ducks are finally over. A whole month! I had 7 in lockdown, lost two, and maybe a third..not looking too good. So, four out of the 7 viable. I will not do ducks again. These are Welsh Harlequin. Very darling.

I've wanted Ducks for awhile, but they probably wouldn't like Texas all that much.

I finally decided to help the last Serama out, he is fine, but I "think" he might have spraddle legs!

You know how to fix those right? Easy as pie! I use electrical tape.

I cut a piece long enough to give the baby room to walk, then cut that pieced in half. Just a little skinny piece that fits in the middle of the legs. I leave it for a day, then check later that day. Usually works pretty fast. Good luck, maybe it just took time for it to get strong on those little stick legs.

He is so tiny compared to the other two! Course, that just goes to show you how fast they grow...
