Hopefully you will have more than one.

Jossane, those are so cute!

@Ked -- well I for one will take your No Duckling advice. And yeah, how *do* you minimize the droppings?

I have a BCM pip!!
big_smile.png
. I can hear it chirping. My GLW has not pipped. I thought I could hear it chirping yesterday but I guess it was probably the BCM.

I was surprised that the humidity didn't bump up with the pip. Does that suggest that the humidity during the incubation was good or does that mean she is going to get shrink wrapped for sure?

lol, I wouldn't try sleeping with anything small and fragile unless you know you're a completely solid sleeper. The only reason I can is because I know I take on the properties of a rock when I fall asleep and there's nothing in the world that makes me move. I also don't normally keep them out for more than an hour or so- not because they make a mess, but because I wake up worried they need to eat and drink overnight and they can't do that with me.

As for limitations... well, you can't stop them, so the best you get is being prepared. I just keep a box of tissues next to my bed and they sleep on one of those or in my hands. To be honest though, the peachicks have never made a mess outside of their brooder. Ping usually goes 1 time as soon as I take him out, and I dunno.... holds it after that or something because it's never an issue. I figure they just learn the difference- don't poo on mom and they get to come out and cuddle.
