2 chicks in the incubator this morning with 3 pips so far. Tried to pick out Onagadori eggs to hatch but the first to hatch looks like a mystery chick. For the first time ever I tried refrigerating eggs before incubating to see if I could get more pullets. Seems I always end up with more little roos. Pretty sure there are more boys than girls in my chicken yard cause the boys are so hard to place. Happy 4th to me! And you!

They're way cuter than expected, guys... Even if tiny little noisemakers. They all 4 have splayed legs and one has curly toes, but they're so cuddly. I'm going to try to fix the legs and toes and keep them.

Hello everyone! I am currently incubating my first ever batch of eggs! I have 22 total consisting of buff Brahma, blue buff Brahma, and blue/gold partridge Brahma. They are due to hatch on the 20th/21st. They are all shipped eggs with detached air cells so hopefully I have some luck. I did candle 2 yesterday (day 4) and both looked great!

Welcome to the Hatch-a-Long! Sounds like a bator-load of cuties-to-be. Best of luck with them!
