I woke up to 2 pips on Silverudd's! They'll hit day 20 this afternoon. Right on track.

Are you getting the colors you hoped for? I know you were excited about that. The one in the picture is beautiful. Kind of reddish.

It should be some type of scarlet/range mix... I’ll see what they look like when they start feathering. This one is insane never had one fight me when I hold it until today.

Any of these could be it’s parents...

Males are Autumn Amber...

Most of my females are autumn amber or scarlet/range...

Not sure what coloring the first one is

I barely cobble together a working knowledge of chicken coloration (base colors, patterns, leakage, and what not). I definitely don't need to be throwing in additional species! They're so cute though. I'm sure someday we'll give them a shot. I hope you post pics of that guy when it's an adult. Fun one to watch.

I will. I usually make albums on here with their hatch pic then their growth pics. I haven’t been as on top of it lately though
