My July hatch is finally sold out. 21 days to sell 50ish chicken mutts, I am done with other people's animals until next year.
:wee
Bring on the ducks, cream legbars, marans, dorkings, delawares, sussexes and Guineas. :D I feel like I forgot some, oh yeah, Dominques, Silver Laced Wyanadotte, and Rhode Island Reds.
Only some of which I'm hatching, most are being shipped in as day olds for next year's hatching project. "Project Hatch More than FortCluck".

I woke up to 2 pips on Silverudd's! :wee They'll hit day 20 this afternoon. Right on track.

So I have a (probably stupid) question. When you say Silverudd's, what breed are you talking about? I know that he developed several breeds and I often hear it mentioned and I always wonder, what breed is everyone referring to? :idunno

Have fun with that 😂 I have lot of quail and lots of chickens, so lots of eggs... don’t make me add pheasants 😂

I think it's a great question! These are Silverudd's Blues. Previously know as the Isbar. I should get in the habit of using their proper name. My instinct is always to write Isbar so I thought I was doing pretty good remembering Silverudd's. :he Now I'll have to remember to start adding the Blue to it. :lau

Kelsey, where did you order from? I may need to order more but I want to order from somewhere different than last time.

The first order I placed that just hatched was from foxfirepapillons (I have had really good luck with her eggs - had great development and hatch rates with both sets of eggs I got from her and they are always packaged well). This second batch that I just ordered is from blue-ribbon_farms .
