Others have great success with it, but I found it quite wasteful considering it’s hard to find paper towels here stillYeah I think I’ll avoid using them next time haha

Are they really as easy to process as it looks like?
I watched a video that went from the head off and dipping into hot water stage, to fully cleaned, plucked (rubbed) and ready to cook or freeze in like 3 minutes flat!
Of course we'd need about 4 or 5 per meal, but wow...those looked easy!
I rinsed my muddy and poopy eggs under warm water and gently rubbed any really icky spots and rinsed some more. Mine hatched no problem. So I got some EE eggs free from a friend of a friend. They were pretty dirty so I cleaned them with hydrogen peroxide. Just barely brushed them off. They will be ok right? They are beautiful big blue eggs so I am so looking forward to what comes out.
Thank you!SUPER easy! My sister has egg chickens, meat chickens, meat rabbits, and had quail a few months ago. They had their first butchering day a month or so ago and I was there (because my husband says if I want any animals for meat, I have to be willing and able to do it on my own) to acclimatize myself to it. I actually helped my sister with the quail and it was super easy and quick. One of us would hold the body (so they wouldn't fly away) and the other would do the butchering.
After watching them butcher the rabbits, I don't want meat rabbits. But I would 100% love to get some quail!
I just leave them and never had issues. It’s what they say to do with waterfowl eggs so figure it’s no different for chicken. Mine never get dirty usually even with the feathered feet and leg chickens. My chickens like to keep a clean house lolI rinsed my muddy and poopy eggs under warm water and gently rubbed any really icky spots and rinsed some more. Mine hatched no problem.
So the eggs I got from eBay left NY Saturday arrived in Indianapolis Saturday evening and are still there according to tracking! That’s kinda frustrating they didn’t move today. I didn’t expect them till Wednesday so it’s not that big of a deal maybe they just needed a rest.![]()
