I think the brown one might possibly be from my Partridge Rock but I’m not sure. It could be from the Delaware too but it doesn’t really look like her usual egg so

I also have the Speckled Sussex, of course, and two older hens, a Buff Orpington and a Black Australorp. But it doesn’t look like their eggs either and also I doubt the SS laid it herself since she’s been broody lol

I think it’s a Delaware or Partridge Rock. But MAYBE BA.

Thanks for the support y'all, and the wax idea. Fragile ones seem better today, Old Farmers Almanac suggests July 7 as good day to set new hatch.
Just keep breathing
That's likely good to know if you're hatching your own eggs as the old farmers would, but you may lose the value of setting on the 7th with older eggs that have also suffered the rigors of shipping. I would hesitate to wait that long... assuming your incubator is fired up and vetted, I'd set them immediately if they were mine.

So I'm noticing a bit of a pattern with my two rescue hatches. they both make the typical pyramid, but then seem to act like they're zipping. However the membrane directly under the shell is barely punctured if at all. I caught it on the second duckling who, after gaining access to air, stopped all further attempts and is merely chirping on occasion and yawning. With lil Yuudachi, it almost seemed like it got stuck, as if it was malpositioned. Now keep in mind, this was from an abandoned nest so I wouldn't personally say it's incubator related. But is it possible that they both have some minor deficiency or that theres an egg problem I should keep an eye out for as I wait for the last egg to hatch? When I gave Yuudachi just a little help by breaking some of the shell it immediately began untucking its head. Is it possible they're both malpositioned?

Okay, went and checked on Freckles and started labeling the eggs one by one until I couldn’t find any more so I just picked her up, moved her over a bit and labeled the rest then put her back lmao the whole time she just settled on the new spot I put her 😂🤣😂😍

So she now has stolen 3 more 😂🤣:th

She has 7 total now. 3 White Leghorn eggs, 3 Easter Egger eggs, and one brown one who I’m not sure who it’s from. I think 2 of the EE are from one hen and the new one is from a different one but I’m not entirely sure. If there are any more laid today I’ll let her have them lol

I just labeled them all with today’s date. maybe bad, I know but because so many look the same, I couldn’t tell which ones were which date. I did mark in my phone though that she started the other day lol so we’ll see. Now we just wait.
Today's date is fine... you just need a marker. You may end up putting some in the incubator if she gets tired of waiting, though. Don't give her more eggs tomorrow. If you're gonna do that, you may as well collect a bunch and put them in the incubator. (Are you gonna have enough housing for them all when they're big?)

Just out of curiosity does anybody know what the babies might look like? LOL
I just wanted to acknowledge what you said. Even though I cannot give any guesses since I'm not a chicken person.

Ok that aside yuudachi is beginning to dry off.
Best guess a swedish variant.
The bill is really tiny. Almost reminds me of a call duck... the other one is yellow. I punctured the membrane for it. It's almost like it's unable to fully extend its neck.

Maybe a weird kind of malposition?
