It is pure and not an EE. It is rather rare. It is on the livestock conservatory watch or study list because it is not APA yet. It was once more common but when many smaller hatcheries went out of business the breed died off. It is LF and a dual purpose breed that make great free rangers. The Roos are known as hawk fighters. I gave a lot of hints. This is fun (for me at least)

Nope. The story is a farmer had a leghorn that went missing and turned up with chicks. They didn't look anything like any surrounding chickens. It was thought they are a cross with a pheasant.

took pictures... i have 2 eggs left... one EE/americana but dont think it will hatch has a badly disrupted air cell.

and a small white egg.

and a bunch of quail from person #2 should hatch tomorrow....

They are from my Silkie/turken roo over 4 ameracauna hens & 1 EE hen. I never got a white one though.
