Thing is, if I get a bunch of roosters....I dont know what I'm goin to do with them geez I just assumed I had a 50/50 shot on whether I'd get hens or roosters.... How old before they can be sexed?!

She will learn. She’s smart and the most gentle one of the four lol. She may start herding them eventually lol. Just make sure she knows the difference between herding chasing and attacking. Of course they have to grow up first hahah

I am not playing with words, i am explaining the labeling used in poultry sales for the op and others. There was not,in fact, deception as the birds were represented as straight run

Roosters can be awesome. They look after the hens. Warn when danger approaches, winged or four legged predators. My roos round up the girls for bed time. They're a lot of fun to watch. Def read up on roo behavior before keeping one.

I agree. I don’t think you would have any worries with fertilized eggs if you collect daily.
