I was really bummed...especially for my silkies. I was on a 3 month waiting list from this seller by the name of Cara Smith, found her on egg bid selling bird's. She was really nice up until day 9 in my incubator. She shipped well and sent me extra's, but out of the 18 egg's....only 5 were fertile. Another seller sent me 9 LS eggs and ALL NINE were clear, she gave me a refund back tho...that was nice of her. But this Cara smith is one HORRIBLE breeder. Only 27% of my egg's were fertile....i felt that was just wrong out of 18. So i politely asked her for $15 dollars to refund the 75% of the clear egg's she sent me. I had spent $30 dollars shipped all together and i thought that was a fair refund since i waited to get these egg's for 3 months. She REFUSED me and got very angry, i opened a paypal dispute with her and she escalated it to a claim and won. What a horrible person!!!!!!!!!! I am already so far behind on my silkie breeding program, and this was just another blow to my long awaited plans. Oh well, i just hope i go 5/5 on them.
Wow KogersClutch, that's so rude & unprofessional of her! I can't believe people can do others that way, especially after you were on the waiting list for 3 months. It's good you're doing the right thing by warning others so they can avoid that same dissapointment, I really hope you're luck changes for the better...
