Not yet, but not a bad idea this round. Might be nice to do the old way, pencil it, then embroider it.Does anyone ever sign their blocks?

I hope you are ok. I have an 8 year old pug that needs carried up and down the steps sometimes. Pretty tricky in the middle of the night We haven't but we should, so I'm not against it if you want to sign yours. I thought about seeing what everyone thinks about using this block in a swap, http://www.quilterscache.com/A/AutographStarBlock.html but do 2 sets of blocks one set is the autograph block and then the 2nd set is a block of your choosing, but you must use the same fabrics as you used in your autoblock so we can connect the blocks to you, does that make sense? Anyway just a thought, we have so many ideas and not enough timeKlutz story of the week, I have a 13 year old dog, who has not been feeling very well, so when he needs to go out I carry him up and down the steps well at about 5:30 this morning I missed the last 2 steps and landed on both knees and then on to my elbows, but I didn't drop Boots and he came away unscathed, my left knee landed of course in the rocks and is worse than the right and the right elbow is really sore. Poor Boots bet his life passed in front of his eyes!!! We just don't bounce as well as we use to, I don't remember hurting as much when I fell as a kid.![]()
Oh no!!!! I did that once and sprained my ankle or so they say, I couldn't put my shoe on for four months because the ball of my foot was so swelled up. So happy you didn't break anything. Oh and yes we don't bounce like we used toWe haven't but we should, so I'm not against it if you want to sign yours. I thought about seeing what everyone thinks about using this block in a swap,

Seriously? I need to plan on putting my name on all these blocks? I wonder if I could find someone who has an embroidery machine that would do that for me... hmmm. Not yet, but not a bad idea this round. Might be nice to do the old way, pencil it, then embroider it.
x2. I figured I'd wait and make a swap specifically for that. Maybe one where we make our fav block in fav color and include our name or a signature. But it is optional completely in this swap.its just an idea, you don't have to
