June 1st Quilt Block Exchange

I
We haven't but we should, so I'm not against it if you want to sign yours. I thought about seeing what everyone thinks about using this block in a swap, http://www.quilterscache.com/A/AutographStarBlock.html but do 2 sets of blocks one set is the autograph block and then the 2nd set is a block of your choosing, but you must use the same fabrics as you used in your autoblock so we can connect the blocks to you, does that make sense? Anyway just a thought, we have so many ideas and not enough time

Klutz story of the week, I have a 13 year old dog, who has not been feeling very well, so when he needs to go out I carry him up and down the steps well at about 5:30 this morning I missed the last 2 steps and landed on both knees and then on to my elbows, but I didn't drop Boots and he came away unscathed, my left knee landed of course in the rocks and is worse than the right and the right elbow is really sore. Poor Boots bet his life passed in front of his eyes!!! We just don't bounce as well as we use to, I don't remember hurting as much when I fell as a kid.
I hope you are ok. I have an 8 year old pug that needs carried up and down the steps sometimes. Pretty tricky in the middle of the night 

I'm ok, just sore, I must have really scared Boots, he's not asking me to pick him up and he's going up and down the stairs by himself.

Oh no!!!! I did that once and sprained my ankle or so they say, I couldn't put my shoe on for four months because the ball of my foot was so swelled up. So happy you didn't break anything. Oh and yes we don't bounce like we used to

I would recommend some yogurt too. If you can eat it plain and unsweetened, all the better as sugar kills the beneficial bacteria. The way I started with it is to stir together some plain yogurt with unsweetened applesauce and a generous sprinkle of cinnamon. It also works great as a sour cream substitute you can put on potatoes or an omelet or whatever you like.

Not yet, but not a bad idea this round. Might be nice to do the old way, pencil it, then embroider it.
Seriously? I need to plan on putting my name on all these blocks? I wonder if I could find someone who has an embroidery machine that would do that for me... hmmm.

Well, I don't want my name on there to detract from the block so I will make mine so it blends in with the colors, for instance, on a green part, I'll embroider it in green. Or on a white part, I'll embroider in white.
