All of my duck eggs are developing! I was iffy on them and thinking they might not hatch, but then saw some development a few nights ago!

Tomorrow is day seven! I took those pics last night, so on day five.

Tomorrow/Monday was hatch day, but the power keeps going out. It should not have much of an impact, but ya never know.

The little one is up and running! She was very slow to get on her feet, almost 24 hours, but she's doing great now. And yes, its a girl!! I love auto sexing breeds.

And I did end up running out to the feed store to pick up some EE to keep her company. I tried it with the 2 week olds and for an hour, it was fine, then....things went south fast. So. Here is hoping these news guys aren't too sick :/

Candled my quail eggs ready for lockdown. Had only 3 quitters so 30 eggs left. I used an auto turner so I forgot to shuffle my eggs around like I do when I hand turn so the ones on the sides will most likely be behind thanks to cool spots

Does your incubator have a fan to circulate the air? I didn't know shuffling the eggs around was a thing!

It scared me to death! I uncovered the incubator this morning (power has stayed on a while), and it was right where I first looked.

The popcorn machine is making more noise. I see the kernels jumping around, and I can allllllmost hear the popping. Three more quail look like they are minutes away from hatching.
