Six hatched as of this morning, in this nest. The other nest has at least one, but Momma is not letting me anywhere near, lol!

The marans hatch finished up. 17 out of 42 hatched so a bit better than 7 out of 30 but still not very good. Interestingly a couple of the eggs were very oblong… like little sausages. I though no way those would do anything but they all did fine the ones that didn’t hatch all looked more like normal shaped eggs

Hi everyone! I have 6 frizzle eggs due to hatch 22nd of June. It's my first time hatching.

They are on day 5 and I candled them for the first time. If the yolk is moving freely that means they are quitters? I have two that are moving and want to check before I remove them. TIA

Just put 33 eggs into lockdown. Only had 3 late quitters in the new (old) incubator. Glad I got a chance to test it out!

Currently have 49 left at day 15. I'm doing a dry hatch, excited to see how these babies do. I had 4 blood rings ar day 8 and 29 that weren't fertilized.

I always say it’s my last batch of the year, but here we are again BC1 Olive Eggers under various brown layers. Mostly I’ve seems like the BCM gets the most action, but our mystery roo produced a stunningly gorgeous olive over an EE. We’ve never gotten an answer on what he is and I’m soooooo curious!

late update- So the eggs i filled my incubators with (like, completely filled.) were 10 CCL, 3 olive eggers, 12 BCM, and 15 of a rainbow mixture containing eggs from a mixed flock araucana and ameraucana's, olive eggers, and a mixed flock of marans and welsummers. I'm currently leaving the incubator in my moms hands until friday/saturday, as I'm on missions trip. Will definitely get eggs.
Not quite sure about one thing though, i may have 12 CCL and 10 BCM, as the lady i got them from let me put 3 olives in one dozen but forgot whether or not that was the CCL or the BCM's.
I also filled my 6-egg incubator with more of the rainbow eggs.
For more informatiom the rainbows came from Promised Homestead (facebook), and The Bell Flower Farm (instagram) had the bcm and legbars (and the few olives i got).

Welp 9 of 12 hatched.. not sure what's gonna happen to the other 3 but we will see.. one looks to be moving a bit but both olive eggers are not.. but 9 of 12 isn't bad.. started with 18 tho so 12 out of 18? Hmmm also have 6 on lockdown in another bator.. started at 8.. one quitter one not fertilized.. all 6 looked wonderful at lockdown today
