June Hatch A Long

Pics
lol, Since I've been working on the computer today and flipping back and forth to your live feed, I've seen all of them move but the two bottom right ones. The rest have all taken turns like little jumping beans. Why have I never thought of setting up a camera before?! This is the best! :pop

I know right it is mainly for self preservation because I will have to be at work all weekend so will need something set up so I can watch when I'm not here lol. It's fun to share it too. Thinking next time I should put the cam inside the incubator lol.

The other two still aren't showing any signs of internally pipping wondering if they are further behind the others. I had two laid in the car on the ride home so these might be those eggs lol. Still showed movement on Wed night but no pipping.

LOL! Well I'm so glad you're sharing with us! I didn't know how much I was going to NEED other people's updates on their hatches when I signed up for the hatch-a-long. :lau I plan my hatch days so I can be home and don't schedule anything else so I can sit and watch (my daughter and I have literally had dinner in front of the incubators, lol). I should just take the month off to watch everyone else's hatches. :gig

I usually do the same thing. These eggs were kind of spur of the moment. I was picking up Muscovy ducks for my niece and the lady said do you want her eggs too? They should never say things like that to me it just starts all sorts of problems. So I set them in the incubator and then checked to see their lockdown and hatch dates and wouldn't you know it right on a weekend I have to work ugh. It's so much fun though to watch them grown and hatch and see what they are like when they come out. It's addictive.

There are apps to turn a smart device into a baby monitor. Don’t think I didn’t use that for overnight last hatch with an old iPhone propped up in the chicken room.

Noooooo keep running into them. :caf

I have one of those apps that turns my living room TV in to a dog monitor camera so that I can watch my fosters when I'm not here and make sure they behave. Using my android phone to live feed and watching on my laptop currently. Not sure how I'm going to get it to work for tomorrow since I will need my phone for work lol.

You're telling me it's addictive! I've hatched 81 chicks this year and I have goslings, duckings, and more chicks on the way! I've basically jumped at the opportunity to hatch anything my friends want at this point because I enjoy it so much. :jumpy:jumpy:jumpy
I accepted more eggs then I had space in my incubators...so I bought another incubator naturally! Though since I came home with fewer eggs than I originally planned the incubators sure look sparse...

I found myself perusing the Ebay postings for hatching eggs lol. That was when I knew I was in trouble. I went to get out my incubators and realized I had two digital Hovabators instead of one but for the life of me I didn't remember buying a second one hehe. Let's see the turner holds 42 eggs so that's 84 total at a time right ;)
