This is day 7/8Question, are these blood rings? One has a noticable ring but this is my first time incubating so I'm not positive. Another has some sort of free flowing black spot in addition to what I assume is the embryo but I could be wrong. That's egg labeled B.

This will be my first time incubating on sides, last hatch along several folks had eggs like that and it was interesting to see all the ways an embryo can form and what you can and can’t see. Thanks so much. Yes they're incubating on their sides.
Yay more ducks in the hatch a long!I am going to join in. I just ordered hatching eggs today. They will be here on Saturday. I have 8 Welsh Harlequin duck eggs, and 10 Australian Spotted Duck eggs. The Welshies will likely take all month but the Aussies take a little less time because they are bantam ducks. I really like the idea of raising a breed that is much more rare. Super excited.
