Tiny birds gotta have big attitudesThis one growled and puffed right up. It made me laugh because she’s so tiny.
How did you keep others out of the nesting box?Tiny birds gotta have big attitudesI like my golds better than all the others, the BSL's are super skittish.
Yes, In Australia (and maybe the UK as well?) we use Pekin instead of Cochin for the bantams. We do have LF Cochins here, though not as popular and i have read somewhere that there are bantam Cochins here which are separate, but i would say very similar looking chickens. We also have Pekin ducks here, but the chickens are probably more well known.I know this is going to sound like a silly question but do we have the bantam Pekins here in the US? I have heard people from different countries mention pekins so I looked them up and it sound s like they are different from our bantam cochin. I always thought a pekin was a duck. I'm learning something new everyday. That's why I love this site.

I have 3 nesting boxes but the other ones won’t use the one that’s open![]()
