@FortCluck There have been way too many people talking about CCLs and then digging deeper into my Franken-chicky....LOVE those blue eggs pics from the CCLs......thinking about adding another to my hatch list. Lol!

I hatched out 2 females CCL in Feb. but wanted to get blue eggers to a friend, so I gave him 3 hens 2 CCL and one OE. He gave me the EF mix eggs. I also Have CCL mixes from NC in my incubator.

All the abbreviations are fun, we should abbreviate incubator, and call it "inc"and not "bator", don't like that word.

Nope! Lol! I just thought it was funny where just last week I was saying this site was going to get me in trouble because I keep looking up breeds that others are talking about and how I wanted to add Welsummers to my list (which I just ordered yesterday lol). I can definitely say I have a lot of different breeds that my neighbors don't have because of this.

There are still so many abbreviations I am trying to figure out! I don't like "bator" much either. For some odd reason I think of an alligator every time I type or say "bator".

My hubby has just given up on trying to limit my hatching. I agreed to hatch him some pheasants, so it is not like I am doing this all for myself. I am also wanting to sell a bunch if I can. But most of all, this is how I am keeping my sanity having the kids home early for summer due to the Covid virus. I am usually more than ready to send them back to school after 3 months and that is with breaks for them to go stay with grandparents. Right now we are 2 months in with zero breaks from the kids looking at 3 more months before school starts.
