June Hatch a Long

What I do to put the humidity up is a small cup with water and a small sponge in the small cup that helps me a lot
i cant get the humidity higher than 35 to 40 lots of water in there.  can it be that i have the bator in my ac room.  should i transfer it to the garage?

I just want to be watching it and am afraid that the temp.  or humidity might not be right and me not know.  so i wanted to have them with me at all times.  yet i dont want to loose my babies all together for not doing it right

AC dehumidifies a room. You could move it, but garage doesnt sound like the best area. do you have a spare room?

ok its that time guys.... nose smudges on the bator windows and bad nerves. my 28 AG eggs went into lockdown this morning.

started out with 27 mixed (that were questionable to begin with) and 39 AG eggs.

tossed all of the mixed and 10 AG the first week for infertility.

tossed 1 AG quitter the 2nd week.

the last 28 AG eggs have been doing great and I am hoping all of these hatch.

keeping my fingers crossed.

We are four days into incubating for the first time. We candled them yesterday and i think I saw saw blood vessels, but I am not sure. We have Polish and Silkie eggs and some project eggs from our Sizzle roo. Fingers and toes are crossed for healthy chicks in 17 days!

Good luck on your hatch!

So two quail have hatched! My son is so excited his eggs are fertile and making babies! He loves them dearly. Hope they are both girls since he lost a girl to a chicken snake last week.

YAY! Congrats! I am sorry about the chicken snake.

my chicks :-D

So cute! Congrats!

Getting ready to lockdown today. Yay!

Good luck!

one chick so far was already half dried 2 hrs ago, no pips that i can see, but one was rockin around.... little slower than usual for my last hatches but i may have set these guys in the evening i dont remember... but even one is a win for me ^_^ today i start to rebreed my hens so i can collect next week and fill 'er up again, then one more hatch after that MAAAYBE 2 more if my young girls start laying then ill get an early brood out of them, but id rather have bantams if i have to winter anything in the house, they are quieter, and smaller s wont crowed eachother too much in the brooder....
