Just cook it first, as for the stinker I would eyeball them real good most stinkers weep it will look like spots or it can be just a sheen on one part of the egg. You risk infection for the rest of the babies if it does explode. Not to even get into having to clean it up. Good luck!

no, you cannot give your chicks uncooked rice.

well checked and had three quiters

I am thinking no because it will expand in their bellies. You can cook it first and give them cooked. But never uncooked. That is how I get rid of ants cuz when they eat it their bellies over fill and they die.

We are four days into incubating for the first time. We candled them yesterday and i think I saw saw blood vessels, but I am not sure. We have Polish and Silkie eggs and some project eggs from our Sizzle roo. Fingers and toes are crossed for healthy chicks in 17 days!

Of course, that would just be as a treat, right? Chick starter makes a better foundation until they actually are ready to lay (if you are talking about chicks).
