June Hatch a Long

I don't have pics of my girls since they are so reluctant to stand up like they should... BUT I have some pics or babies I've hatched from my eggs, and a couple of my VERY young cockerels (the oldest is just 11 months) these guys are no way as amazing looking as they will be at maturity, but they are pretty nice boys :D

I Love how upright they stand! They look so "human".

2 RIR due tomorrow, 5 more due 2 days later, 15 RIR due around the 1st and 13 RIR due June 8th. All in homemade bators. My RIR hen "Ginger" may be going broody too!

Looking at getting some EE too. Maybe I need to join the bator addicts? lol

I just put 17 in - due to hatch June 8. All are OE's from a BYC member. I'm hoping to get a bunch of beautiful green egg layers!
did you mean EE's? Not sure what OE's are. hummm

exciting anyway. All chicks are always exciting, such super cut little things.

I think RIR are great for both personality and eggs!

Rather sure thats Olive eggers, Unless its Old English but thats normally OEG.
RIR are also semi sexable at 1-7 days. with around 80% probabilty.

Forgot since I couldn't sleep last nite/early AM I set my last batch of eggs for awhile. Not counting duck eggs. I put 17 WLH, 17 BR, 4 Black sexlink (BA x BR) and 3 pure BA's. Will be busy next month.

ACK! I guess I am too old, or it is too late.... I can't think of which breeds all the abbreviations are for, can you please fill me in?
I am guessing (obviously incorrectly)
White Laced Houdans - which makes no sense
Bared Rock
BA...BA.... Blue Andalusians?

I'd love to join you all! Last night I put 7 SF (salmon faverolles) eggs under my first-time-broody BA(black australorp). She's only eight months old but has been diligently sitting on her ceramic eggs for a full week. The sf eggs were shipped but look pretty good, a few wobbly air cells. I didn't put the fully detached ones under Betty. This is my third hatch. First two were in my homemade incubator. Fabulous hatch last time with local eggs, giving me 21 chicks that just moved into the coop yesterday. However, I have not had good luck with shipped eggs in my incubator. Sooooo... Betty gets 7 eggs in hopes she'll get better results.

I would like to join.
This is my first time hatching. I put 13 eggs in my new incubator yesterday, so I guess I have a June 7 hatch day.
Looking forward to following y'all.
