thanks to everyone for all the advice but i have 0 that made it, i candled last night no movement so i cracked them today and all was dead. but i will be putting ducks in tomorrow so gonna focus on that.

I'm so sorry, Starling...I had the same thing happen to me. All fully formed, but dead. It's absolutely gut-wrenching.

Babies! All purebred Serama and all but the funny liver colored one are by the same cockerel (out of a smooth pullet and a frizzled pullet)
In the back of the photo with four babies is their week and a half old sister These noobs were born yesterday. 6 out of 9 eggs that went into lockdown, so not bad for Serama

They are so cute, congrats

Hey guys, randomly jumping back on to jump into the hatching madness again. I am going to go pick up some local barnyard mix eggs today! My lone quail is doing well with it's adopted siblings.


And a quick question to those who own polish chicks, is this one?

If all goes as planned I'll be setting 30 guinea eggs tomorrow afternoon, and they should hatch around July 14th. My last batch hatched on day 24 & 25, 6 out of 18. Hopefully this batch will have better results.

Well, there is a whole lot of chirping going on with the broodies....................
haven't a clue how many have hatched.

I am really sorry...there are so many thiings that can affect a hatch..............I hope you can get help finding the answer and try again.
It is just crazy............Was the roo fertile, were the eggs handled correctly and on and on...............

Yep that is a Polish. Most likely from a White Crested Black
