yea you are right...... woo hoo..... hatch buddies again. I just put 15 in my incubator this morning so my new hatch dates are approximately july 6th and july 15th.. be sure to post pics when your babies hatch. I wanna see.

HI,
This is a little off topic..............but this has been my support since the March hatching thread...........
My little girl that hatched with one wing passed away..........She just never did well as far as eating like she was not interested.
I gave her yogart, smashed eggs ect.and bought two silkie chicks for her in hopes competition would create an interest in food........
Obviously, she had problems that were not visable. She slept with me.( knew better but did it anyway).
It was interesting to me that the silkie chicks seemed to take care of her............one on each side of her when they rested......
Anyway, thank you for letting me share my grief. Who would think losing a little thing like that could hurt so bad...............
Feel like a big baby........................

Sorry for your loss, don't feel like a baby. I lost a peachick a bit ago and sat here and bawled. The sick/hurt ones are the ones that we bond with because they require more care. No shame in that.

so sorry for your loss and don't blame you for crying, I would be heartbroken as well.

Sorry for both of your losses. I understand how bad it hurts. I cried too when I lost my silkie. It is ok to cry.

I've been off for a bit & I keep missing stuff!
Love that Ameraucana! Such cheekiness! Wow!
I won't play favorites - everyone has lovely little chickies! Congrats to all with their hatches done & moving on to next month!
Sorry for those who lost chicks. Sometimes its not clear what went wrong, so don't blame yourselves. Let's enjoy the ones that made it here & celebrate! Woo hoo!

Ok. Just got home from dr. I have strep!!! Yea me. NOT. It never fails when I go out in public. I get sick. Ugh. Thanks for letting me vent.

Ok candeled and marked my Brodie's eggs. The coching has 9 and the oegb has 6. The are still stealing all of my other hens eggs. I took 10 more away from them. They are trying to do staggered hatches like me. Lol. So in the bator they went. Some look like day 14 and some look like day 5 or less. Man the girls want a slew of babies.
